3-Phase Smart Irrigation Controller

A coconut, banana, guava, and leafy-greens farm needed automated sequential irrigation across four zones with 3-phase motor protection, NTP scheduling, and remote Telegram control — eliminating daily manual operation by the farm owner.

Problem

Farm owner was manually operating irrigation pumps multiple times daily across four crop zones with different water schedules. A single pump failure without voltage protection could destroy the motor. No remote visibility meant the owner had to be physically present.

Architecture

ESP32-based control unit with 3-phase voltage monitoring via ZMPT101B sensors, relay switching bank for zone control, NTP-synchronized scheduling, MQTT telemetry to cloud dashboard, and Telegram Bot API for remote override commands.

Problem

Small industrial facilities in power-unstable regions experience equipment damage and production losses due to voltage fluctuations. Reactive protection triggers after damage begins. Predictive intervention requires forecasting instability seconds before it occurs.

Architecture

ESP32 with ZMPT101B voltage sensing sampling at 1kHz, onboard LSTM model inference using TensorFlow Lite for Microcontrollers, threshold-based relay protection, MQTT telemetry to cloud dashboard with historical trend visualization.
